Who we are

“Jeel Zad / زاد الأجيال” is an interactive digital storytelling platform operated from Jordan.

Data we collect

• —Account data: email address, an optional display name, and preferred interface language.
• —Access and payment data: lifetime access status, purchase records, and bank-transfer requests with their receipts when that method is used.
• —Reading history: which story was opened, the last page, progress percentage, and the time of last reading.
• —Limited technical data needed to operate the service and protect it from abuse.

What we never collect

• —No child accounts, and no child names, ages, or photographs.
• —No national identity numbers and no health data.
• —No card numbers: electronic payments are handled by the payment provider.
• —No targeted advertising, and we never sell personal data.

Purpose and legal basis

Account data is processed to perform the agreement and deliver purchased access. Payment records are processed for accounting obligations and fraud prevention. Reading history is processed to provide the continue-reading feature the parent asked for.

Sharing

We share the minimum necessary with the service providers that run the platform (hosting, database, authentication, payment processing), or where the law requires it.

Retention

• —Account data: until the account is deleted.
• —Reading history: permanently deleted with the account and never restored if the same person registers again.
• —Payment, refund, fraud-prevention, security, and audit records: kept for the period legally and operationally required, anonymized or pseudonymized where possible.

Your rights

• —Access and export your personal data in a usable format.
• —Correct the editable information in your profile.
• —Permanently delete your account from the account dashboard.
• —Submit and follow up on other privacy requests.

Security

We apply row-level data isolation in the database, short-lived links for private files, and an append-only audit trail for administrative membership actions.

Changes to this policy

Material changes are published as a new version with a version number and effective date. The Arabic and English versions have equal authority.
