Frequently asked questions

Short answers about accounts, access, payment, privacy, and reading inside the platform.

Version 1.2.0 · Effective 2026-08-19

The Arabic and English versions have equal authority.

What is Jeel Zad?

A verified digital storytelling platform for children and the adults who read with them, built on approved sources and reviewed for language, education, and religious accuracy before publication.

Do I need an account?

Free stories are available without an account. An account is needed to keep reading history and to open paid stories.

Do children get accounts?

No. Accounts are for parents only, we collect no data about children, and reading is meant to happen under a parent's supervision.

What is the difference between free and lifetime-access stories?

Some stories are free for everyone, with every feature included. Paid stories open for the account holder after the lifetime-access purchase, and locking always applies to a whole story, never to parts of one.

What is lifetime access?

A single payment of USD 12.00 that opens the paid stories for the account holder inside the platform. It is a one-time purchase, not a monthly or recurring subscription.

How long does manual receipt review take?

Receipts are reviewed by a person, which normally takes about one to three business days. The status update appears in your account dashboard.

How long do I have to request a refund?

A refund can be requested within 30 calendar days of the purchase. Requests made after that window remain eligible for administrator review, without any guarantee of approval.

How long does an approved refund take?

Once approved, refunds are normally sent within 5 to 10 business days. When the money arrives can also depend on the payment provider.

How do I contact you or submit a request?

Support, privacy, data export, account deletion, and refund requests are all submitted from the account dashboard after signing in, and the full request history stays available to you there.

Is the site available in Arabic and English?

Yes. The interface and the legal documents are available in both, each with correct text direction, and every story appears in the language in which it was fully published.

Where can I read the policies?

The Terms of Use and Purchase, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy are all published on the site, and every page links to them in the footer.
